Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

A moist and flavorful banana bread with rich chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and mashed bananas.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  4. Add the sugar to the banana and butter mix and stir well.
  5. Beat the egg in a separate bowl and add it along with the vanilla extract to the mixture.
  6. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture and mix gently until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool before slicing. Enjoy!

For a unique twist, try adding nuts or spices like cinnamon to the batter.
