Creamy Gorgonzola Gnocchi

A delightful dish of soft, pillowy gnocchi combined with a rich and creamy Gorgonzola sauce, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions until they float. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts bubbling.
  3. Add the heavy cream and Gorgonzola cheese to the skillet, stirring frequently until the cheese melts and blends into a smooth sauce (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Toss the cooked gnocchi into the sauce, ensuring they are well-coated. Allow to sit for about a minute.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding sautéed spinach, asparagus, or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce. You may also serve with a light salad or garlic bread.
