Hot Chocolate Balls

Delightful chocolate spheres filled with mini marshmallows, designed to melt in warm milk for a rich hot chocolate experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk cocoa powder and powdered sugar together until well combined.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate into the dry mixture, stirring thoroughly until combined.
  4. Add milk and vanilla extract to the mixture, and mix well until smooth.
  5. Spoon the chocolate mixture into silicone molds, pressing down to eliminate air bubbles.
  6. Place mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate mixture in each mold.
  7. Freeze for about 15 minutes until solid.
  8. Remove the Hot Chocolate Balls from the molds gently.
  9. Serve by dropping into a mug of warm milk and stirring until the ball melts.

Notes

For creativity, consider adding crushed candy canes or espresso powder for flavor variations.
