  • Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and pumpkin puree until smooth. Then add the eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Optionally, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
