Sausage Egg Bake

A hearty and flavorful breakfast or brunch dish featuring sausage, eggs, hash browns, and cheese, perfect for gatherings and easy to customize.

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (your preference)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and drain any fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Grease a baking dish and spread the hash browns evenly on the bottom.
  5. Spread the cooked sausage over the hash browns.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness after 30 minutes.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares to serve.
