1 lb Italian sausage
4 cups chicken broth
4 medium potatoes, diced
2 cups kale, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Brown the sausage in a frying pan over medium heat.
Combine the browned sausage, chicken broth, diced potatoes, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in the crockpot.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the chopped kale and heavy cream.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serve in bowls with crusty bread or a side salad.
