2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
½ tsp salt
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 large egg
⅓ cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan lightly with non-stick spray.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, spices, and salt until well combined.
In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Using a piping bag or a spoon, fill each donut mold about ¾ full with the batter.
Place the donut pan in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, you can glaze or sprinkle powdered sugar on top for extra sweetness!
